Strengthening Communities using Behavior Science
With goals to expand services to address chronic absenteeism and establish a model program that can be replicated across the U.S., the Center for Supportive Communities is poised to continue leading the way in ensuring the success of our next generation.
Assessment
We conduct functional behavior assessments to examine the root causes of truancy and identify the family's unique needs. Our interventions are based on the assessment results, providing customized support for the student.
Mentoring
We pair the student with a caring adult mentor who serves as a positive role model, advocates for the student, and provides academic and social support.

Monitoring
We graph weekly attendance to allow for data-based decision making, and we monitor weekly grades, behavior, and progress in the program.
Motivation and Collaboration
We implement a reinforcement-based intervention to increase school attendance and good behavior. We work with schools, legal systems, youth-serving agencies, and other allied health professionals to provide comprehensive services.

2. Child Welfare and Juvenile Justice
Providing guidance, support, training, and treatment planning for children and families in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems. We contract with legal systems, child protective service agencies, and more!
3. General Behavior Management
Helping you become the expert in managing everyday behavioral concerns and promoting positive change using evidence-based best practices. We support parents, teachers, doctors, and other service providers.
