Transforming Communities
Our data-driven solutions create lasting change in communities.
Our Services
We design custom, data-driven solutions to support communities. Partnering with local organizations, we implement rehabilitative truancy programs to reduce absenteeism and re-engage youth in education and positive activities. Our services include behavior therapy, parent training, provider consultation, advocacy, and professional development. We specialize in restorative prevention and treatment strategies that strengthen systems, promote juvenile justice, and improve community health.
Our Process
CSC’s data-driven approach to behavior change is comprehensive and collaborative. We use assessments, evidence-based interventions, systematic problem-solving, and hands-on training techniques to create sustainable change.
Assessment & Planning
CSC uses an inductive research approach that begins with an assessment and planning process to capture a comprehensive understanding of the contributing and maintaining factors of the presenting problem. Our assessment pinpoints why the problem continues to occur and informs a personalized action plan grounded in evidence-based best practice solutions.
Treatment
Our solutions are grounded in applied behavior analysis, a scientific and compassionate approach to behavior change. We look to the environment to determine why a problem exists and then we use systematic and structured interventions to increase positive outcomes for the individual and at the systems-level. Applied behavior analysis is effective in treating, for example, disruptive and destructive behavior, impulsivity, aggression, noncompliance, defiance, hyperactivity, inattention, depression, anxiety, stress, socio-emotional issues, parent-child relationships, peer relationships, antisocial behavior, parenting deficits, and school-related problems (e.g., school refusal). CSC’s interventions are function-based and combine behavioral principles and procedures to promote socially significant improvements in quality of life.
Monitoring
We use objective data to monitor the implementation and effects of our interventions, and we use self-report data to measure our consumers’ acceptance of and satisfaction with our services. Data collection enables our team to measure program outcomes, track progress, make evidence-based decisions, identify areas for improvement, and ensure goals and objectives are met.
